New frameno for extra flexibility

12/8/2015

In systems with an emphasis on the user experience, you may find that you want to use custom JavaScript functions that take a URL and do something clever with it.

You may have tried to handcraft a URL only to realise how much work CaseMaster® does for you behind the scenes. Simply specify the action and all relevant query string entries are included automatically.

We have now introduced a new 'frameno' (there is an interesting history behind its' meaningless name) to support such scenario:  'js.'.

Add the name of your JavaScript function and Bob is your uncle. Do remember that JavaScript is case sensitive!

So, the frameno

js.myFunc

May result in the following JavaScript call:

myFunc( '../cmAsp/gpf.asp?-pk.rqst=20507&-zXInStdPopupTab=1&a=start')
