Pageflows

A pageflow is a feature of a CaseMaster® system. It defines the user journey from one page to another to complete a specific task.

Imagine a feature to search for a customer. The user selects the appropriate customer and sees all the payments received so far.

What we need is:

  • The self describing business objects 'Customer' and 'Payment'
  • The standard components 'Search', 'Query' and 'List'
  • Linking them together in the right sequence in a pageflow

A pageflow consists of standard actions. Search, list, edit, calendar, grid, delete, etc.

The actions are associated with self-describing business objects. The 'Search' action now becomes a 'Passenger Search'. The 'Calendar' action, a 'Calendar of financial transactions'.

The actions are linked together to make a feature. The linked action represent the user journey through the pages of the feature.  Developing an application has never been so simple.
